Hold Ticket

Overview

This article explains how to put seat(s) of a ticket on hold and turn a hold ticket to available.

In this article 

Put a ticket on hold

  1. Go to Main Events -> Search Main Event, click on the Edit button next to the main event that you want to edit and Switch Event to select the event you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to find the Ticket Listing block. In the table, find the section of the seats you want to put on hold and scroll to the right. Click on the Pencil icon 🖋to edit it.
  3. On the tickets tab with the list of available seats, click on the status next to the seat you want to put on hold and select HOLD from the Status drop-down list and select the user name from the user drop-down list  and enter the hold note for the select user and click on Confirm button.
Note: The hold user needs to be added first by clock on the “+” button to add the new user name in order to select an existing user from the drop-down list.

Put bulk seats on hold

  1. Follow step 1 ~ 2 under Put a ticket on hold to open the Edit Ticket Listing popup window.
  2. On the tickets tab with the list of available seats, click on the checkbox in front of each seat you want to put on hold.
  3. Click on the Status dropdown menu and select HOLD.
  4. Select the Hold For user  and enter the Note
  5. Click on the Change Status button to apply changes.

Turn hold tickets to available

  1. Follow step 1 ~ 4 under Put a ticket on hold to open the Edit Ticket Listing popup window.
  2. On the expanded list of seats, find the Status column on the right and click on the Hold dropdown menu to change it to Available.
  1. Click on X on top-right corner to close the popup window
Note: The methods described above of changing seats of ticket to hold are done by user manually.  However, when the ticket in the order has been canceled or changed, the seat of the ticket will change to hold by the system automatically .
